Conolidine is found in the bark with the tropical flowering shrub Tabernaemontana divaricata, commonly known as the pinwheel flower. The plant is native to southeast Asia, where it has extended been used in regular Chinese, Ayurvedic and Thai medicines to deal with fever and ache.
